The Queen is dead

What do the French have to do with all this?

I know it wasn't a serious question, but President Macron actually gave a lovely tribute. When I thought about it I realised that it was probably the first time I had ever heard him make a speech in English. I thought it was a nice touch to ensure people in the UK could hear what he was saying.

I'm not sure but I always thought "Pardon my French" has something to do languages being interpreted into swear words or maybe just the F word. IDK.

I think you're right. Unrelated but the Queen spoke both English and French. Our Justice Minister found that out when he signed our 🇨🇦 Constitution. The pen ran out of ink and he swore in French. She wasn't upset, in fact it made her laugh. :ROFLMAO:

Hmm. There was a minimum of one guy with an MP5 out of shot there. Probably 2.

Recently I was at an event with a less 'important' royal and chatting to one of the protection officers who was sat in the left hand seat of his Range Rover apparently checking his emails. But you could just see the stock of his MP5 exactly where his right hand could reach it…
