TJ airbox

I've been looking for an OEM airbox for my '99 TJ four lunger. I see that the boxes themselves are the same for the four and six cyinder engines, but the connecting hose is apparently different. There's a lot of the six cylinder boxes for sale, but the fours are few and far between. Does anyone know if the connecting hoses can be modified to fit?

Yup. You can make something work. Most auto parts stores sell adapters for intakes sizes. You could also get creative and make one with PVC ect then use the intake adapters to fit it.

Are you needing the tube to connect the airbox to the throttle body?
