TJ won't start after replacing battery

Just replaced battery in 99 wrangler. Now won’t turn over. Lights and gages work

Check the connections, I guarantee that’s your problem.

What happens to the headlights and dash lights while the ignition switch is in the Start position? You'll need a helper to know the answer to that question. If the headlights and dash lights go out when you turn the key to Start, you either have a defective/weak/dead battery or its connections are bad.
