TJ won't start even after replacing battery

When out to leave and Jeep was dead. I replaced the battery in January took it back today they replaced it with a new one. Now it still won't start gauges work,radio but will not turn over. Where should I start and what do you recommend? Thanks.

You may have a broken ignition actuator. Mine broke last year. Not to hard to replace. Radio, gauges, fuel pump primed but it wouldn’t crank.

Does the key snap back from the start position, or is it slow returning to run? I agree with the above statement, but could also just be dirty contacts in the ignition switch, especially if you drive the Jeep open and get wet often. Both parts are inexpensive, and the entire process only takes about an hour to swap them out. Hardest thing about the job, is having the security bits to remove the actuator and switch.

Does the starter relay click under the hood? Does the starter solenoid click?
