Jeep got here at around 6pm so didn’t have time to do much today. Mainly inspecting what I had as I bought it sight unseen. It’s in good shape, it came from Boone, NC, 29k miles. I bought the gray hardtop from rubitrux, it came with the soft top. I’m very happy with it and think I stole it for what I paid. I washed it but it was dark when i got back. It doesn’t have plates so it’s living at @Alex01 until I can make the DMV.

The day I got it. Has a mixed bag of poop lift wise but has the Currie steering so I have a new one that will be up for sale.

Congrats man! Weird, the orange looks black on my pc :D
Hah I haven’t seen a single orange auto besides the one in PA which was too rusty. I figured out there’s prob less than 200 out there which are auto and not rusty/junked and after talking to someone who spent a year looking for one and ended up giving up, I thought I’d go this route. I like black short-term and it’s the easiest to respray as it won’t look bad with a black interior, engine bay, etc.

I have never seen an orange one in person, TJ or LJ. Personally I love the dark blue and wish I could have found one when I was looking. In the used market, sometimes you just gotta take the next best thing. It'll be bad ass in any color. Any bites on the TJ?

A few people fairly interested I don’t think it’ll be around too long

Love the gray hardtop against the black. It'll look just as good against orange. Look forward to seeing it in person at Skillz Day.
Yeah I’m debating doing a DIY paint black for the hardtop in the future but we’ll see. The LJ hardtops are becoming very difficult to come by so when rubitrux mentioned they had one in stock I took what I could get. The hardtop looks brand new and has a bit of a diy headliner up top too which is nice, I’m curious how it’ll effect noise.
