Towing my dog

Unfortunately I learned the hard way when one of ours jumped out while I was doing 25mph in our neighborhood.

My last dog did something similar, but she was in my boat. She jumped out after a goose when I was up on plane, about 35 MPH. Lucky she was a Lab and liked the water, and was unhurt.

I used to have a plywood deck across my whole back area. When I got my first Lab in 2006, I cut out a "U" shape, so he could have the part right behind the seats. He liked it better down so he could lean against the seats or the side fender wells.
