There is truth in what was said up above. Fortunately while the channels (which contain the Upper and Lower mounts) have be welded to the frame, the belly pan can be independently lowered along with the t-case and trans.
However, due to having to install the TeraFlex SYE kit, I ended up pulling and reinstalling the t-case so many times, I’m over it. This is a simple case of stubbornness, which may be overcome after a few eff-bombs and scraped knuckles. I do believe that my buddy has mini-wrenches, so I’ll see if that can help my cause.
Got the metal brake lines bent and routed, plumbed them into the bulkhead that was bolted to the truss, and tied in the TeraFlex 30” JK lines to meet the bulkhead.
Then drilled places for my JK sway bar to mount to on the axle, and set it up on the topside of the frame. Works great! Thanks Gui Eberhard!
Sealed the fuel enclosure with body seam sealer, and began to setup the steering stabilizer, before leaving to go to Ace for a few parts.
The Savvy Off-Road t-case shifter came in, but that will have to wait until this week.
We are making progress. We have brakes!
Next up, to get the Emergency Brake brackets welded to the axle tubes, so it can sit without wheel chocks.
With the stock skid plate and how low it hangs, I believe you'd have a lot more room to fiddle around in there. I guarantee you if you looked at my Rokmen skid, you'd see it would be damn near impossible to do it with the skid plate still attached.
Maybe some sort of crazy contortionist could do it, but I'd like to see that!
Finished installing the cable shifter for the Transfer Case tonight, adjusted it, and it shifts so smoothly! Then I painted and reinstalled some body and roll-cage bracketry, and applied the first coat of Herculiner onto the fuel enclosure.
