Waffles or Pancakes?

Knowing your penchant for derailment, how's the build coming along...?:D
More acquisitions, some selling (a set of half-doors will be heading to Indiana soon), and more rear axle work. Hoping to change rear axle bearings this weekend. Housing is all painted-up and purtiful. Finally satisfied with the rear control arms (long story). It would seem my build has been derailed, but fear not. I am committed to seeing this through! ;)

This may be the first and last TJ you ever build. Don’t waffle my friend!

Waffles...when I make them from scratch!, lots of cinnamon, vanilla, blueberry's and strawberry....When I make pancakes they are crepe thin rolled around peaches. French toast made with challah bread, nice and thick. Man I just finished eating super spicy red curry tofu Thai food but it is making me hungry for breakfast.

Sounds like if we ever have a Jeep meetup, we’re having waffles, biscuits and gravy and whatever else @cliffish cooks up.

There is no wrong answer in Pancakes vs Waffles. Even if you throw in French Toast, they're all winners. Sadly, I'm a type 1 diabetic, so the best I can do is a small portion with minimal syrup and even that will take a huge dose of insulin to offset. I miss the days as a kid (before I was diagnosed) when I'd wake up on a Sunday and eat a huge stack of either homemade pancakes or waffles drenched in syrup.

Don't you just love how the little craters in the waffle trap the syrup too? It's like they're perfectly square little cups designed just to keep the syrup in place.

Pancakes don't even come close. They just get soggy.

I would say that one thing in waffles favor: A great little snack is a frozen waffle heated up and then covered in peanut butter. Pumpkin spice flavored waffles are particularly good for this.

Yep that sucks, I am a type II diabetic don't have to be nearly as careful as you but it still sucks...difference is if I don't take of my self it is just a longer process to the same result....sucks being in NY and be restricted on pizza!
