I think YJ brake lines are really affordable if you want or need them.

i plan on mostly light rocks and overlanding type stuff and this will be my daily driver.

I'd keep it stock height. 31" tires are fine for your proposed use. Maybe spend some cash on recovery and, or lockers, or even a roof top tent.

Bigger/heavier tires without re-gearing equals more fuel consumption. Limits your miles into the wilderness.
