Which Zone lift should I go with?

Hello everyone, my name is Adam and looks like I'm looking for the same thing for my 2001. I have been looking at the Zone kits for a few weeks now. I can't make a decision between the combo kit or just buying their 4 inch lift kit. Can someone help me with the pros and cons of them?

Well for starters what are your goals with the Jeep? What size tires are you running and what kind of terrain are you wanting to go over? Are you planning on keeping the 2.5L?

Between a 4" suspension lift and a 3" + 1" body lift, I'd go for the latter. The 3" suspension lift creates less of a driveshaft angle change than a 4" does so it doesn't need a SYE kit like the 4" kit does. Plus that combination has a very slightly lower center-of-gravity than the 4" suspension lift kit does. Both kits provide the same amount of extra tire clearance, the 4" suspension lift provides 1" more ground clearance though.

I plan on running 33x12.5-15 tires. As for the engine, the 2.5 will stay for right now, but I plan on doing a LS swap in the near future.

4" would be a good choice for 33's.... a 4" SL or a 3" SL + 1" BL.

I'd go with the 3" SL and 1.25" BL route then for your setup.

I see the regular Zone 4 inch lift comes with a transfer case drop. Will that fix all the driveline issues that I wouldn't need to do a SYE?

It's unlikely a 1" tcase drop will be enough for a SWB TJ with a 4" suspension lift. 4" of SL is where most agree a SYE is the way to go. You might get away with it if you also install a 1" MML but I'd go the SYE route.
