What are the real variables that control and influence ride quality?

Mine are dialed in. I had them tuned by the local Piano tuner.

Alright @Irun, any other updates or is the list fairly complete?

I still like the idea of adding a few-sentence explanation for each item, so that newbies who come across the thread can understand a bit more about why each item appears where it does.

I've been meaning to come back to this, so thanks for the reminder. It's risky, but over the next week I'll attempt to do the following:
  • Put more clarity around what is meant by "real variables" and create a list of them
  • Sift through the noise here and
  • Provide a brief explanation around the why the variables impact ride
That said, the only three things I'm confident in is:
  1. I won't get it right up front
  2. There are enough experts here that will help fix what I get wrong and
  3. Statler and Waldorf will be in the audience
