What did you do to your TJ today?

You have to give more detail to qualify for points.

Which side first? How’d you decide?

Did you replace with stock bulbs or upgrade?

Was there a story? Did you like get on a rainy road and not be able to see and slam into a truck loaded with watermelons,

Were they on low or high when you turned them on?

Did you but them off the shelf or order them?

Are the new ones better?

Did your wife see the bill and get all mad and start crying and saying mean stuff like ours do?

We keep careful records of all this in your membership file. Then later, like if you get a divorce and they subpoena our records, we can help you and like slow roll the release of information (for a reasonable fee, we call it a processing charge) by passing it back and forth between my office and Chris’s. We just tell them we are doing an internal review first.

This is why it is so important to get those quarterly dues into us on time. We got your back.

Haha! Sorry I forgot all the details. I appreciate keeping all of this in my file to use in the event of a divorce. Makes perfect sense and much cheaper than a lawyer.

Drivers side first. Through deductive reasoning I chose the right side because that bulbs low beam was out.

I replaced them with Phillips Xtreme vision H4’s. They just spoke to me in a way that I couldn’t pass up.

Luckily no accidents and no watermelons harmed.

I turned them on low first, then high, then low, then high. Then adjusted them. Then drank a beer.

I actually went to Philips and had a chance to hand pick the materials used to manufacture these bad boys.

I think they are better than the originals. Especially the drivers side, since it was out. I haven’t put any miles on them yet. Definitely makes my Jeep faster.

The wife doesn’t know. What happens in my shop stays in my shop.

Well another confirmation to NOT use a Standard brand TPS. Replaced 7 months ago to the day yesterday & threw a P0121 code. I know everyone says Mopar but I had to buy at Oreillys in a pinch. They gave me a free replacement but I'll be ordering a Mopar. I thought I saw it at rock auto for like $54 which sounds reasonable.

Kudos to all that suggested I go to the Rancho 55128/55240’s. Drove it this morning after yesterdays install and there is a world of difference in it.
And I thought it rode nice before🤣🤣

I can't lie... every time I get in the TJ (which is every day) I think.. this thing shouldn't ride this good...

$2k delivered to my house. Drove it up the street and it is very floaty. I have new KYBs on my restored TJ and I want to go Rancho on that for ride quality. The KYBs might end up on this one to help the floaty feeling for now until I figure out what I want to do. I have too many LS engines and parts lying around so would be nice to give them a good home.

Whoa - That does sound like a good deal.

Amazon came through with my patch kit. I’m going to try to muster up the motivation to get started on this project over the extended weekend. Lots of welding and wrenching in the near future.

As soon as I got on this thing & pedaled 3 feet forward the rush of memories came back, I rode nothing but Schwinns the first 20+ years of my life, too bad they like so many other great American companies went bankrupt then overseas...

I only ever rode somebody else's bike! My first hand me down was a BSA its neck badge was 3 crossed Lee Enfield .303,s with bayonets fixed. Things have come a long way! Bikes were handed down for years and years now you cant pass a dumpster or verge collection with at least one bike in it!

They won't pay you anything on it even if you do. Might as well save the money.

Book value.. what ever little amount that is.
If I get tagged by some numb nuts and lose access to the TJ, they most certainly will cover the rental.. to a max of.. I don't know.. $30-$40 a day.
If the windshield gets tagged, which happens annually in the NE, they absolutely will pay the cost to replace it.

Jeep passed state inspection and I got a special pen. 🤫

I want one! people in Australia hated Trump except me! Family used to give me negative novelty Trumps stuff, the funniest one was a roll of toilet paper with Donald Dump printed on it! I love it because the joke is on them for falling for government propaganda brainwashing. I hope it says "Chi Na" and was made in China lol

Last item in my parts bin that needed to be installed was the GM retractable under-hood utility light.

It was a one out of five wrench install. Did it before breakfast. Just need to replace the magnet on the back of the light pod and I’ll be good to go.

I REALLY need to detail the engine bay before winter comes. Good Lord.. did I just say ‘before winter comes’ ?? That’s sad.

I used a Standard brand from O'Reilly and it's lasted 2 years so far. Maybe just luck of the draw. 🤔
