What did you do to your TJ today?

I've been on here but not enough I guess.
But That makes alot of sense ! Thank you for actually explaining to me rather than just Essentially telling me to fck off 😆
I've been soldering wires for decades, and have yet to have one break - BUT - I have had crimped wires break. The key to EITHER is to properly support the wire with heatshrink - esp. when soldering to a ring terminal or similar. Floating splices like you were doing aren't nearly as problematic (crimp OR solder), but should have heatshrink supporting them as well.

I break it down like this: Airplane people won't solder, boat or marine people insist on it. Either one is sworn by some, sworn at by others! Pick your poison.

Registered the green machine! Daily driving to work to get the initial 500 break in miles done. Threw the tan soft top on too, digging the look. I won’t lie the smittybilt soft top seems a lot more seamless than the best top.

That was the location of the greatest pop up concert ever. Even the singer was shocked how many people were there 😆

Next time I'm in the area, we'll have to have coffee.

They said Keith got behind the counter and served sandwiches...They were overwhelmed to say the least.

Definitely take you up on it.

I discovered those with Blaine’s taillight kit. Liked them so much I bought adhesive lined shrink wrap by the roll and those in bulk. Can’t imaging using regular buttcrimps again.

Also, Milwaukee’s self adjusting wirestripper is great. Will save you a ton of time.
