removed the homemade tow bar mounts from the front bumper, and installed the new adams front driveshaft last night.

still need to do the front brakes and rotors, and install adjustable front uppper arms and cam bolt lock outs, but i've been debating whether to replace the bushings at the same time.

I purchased that same sub to replace the factory as well, and ran into the same issue you found. I designed this wedge-shaped adapter ring to avoid modifying the sub box but also allow it to fit in the console enclosure (just).

Picked the TJ up from getting hydro assist put on. It steers so much better when not moving or at slow speeds. I can't wait to put it on the rocks this weekend.

Installed my NRG steering wheel. I had to order a 1" spacer for it, my fingers won't fit between it and the wiper switch. Hopefully it gets here early Friday.

Fitted my UCF trail doors. They fit like a dream and didn't need any adjustments. Now I need my new soft upper frames to get here so I can install the upper mounts on them.

Deleted my antenna. I always listen to Sirius or what I downloaded from YouTube Music.

I did this as well. I usually don't listen to anything but the vehicle, but if I do it's never radio stations.

I only listen between obstacles and on the way to the trail. I usually turn the volume down so I can hear the spotter and what the TJ is doing.

I think in a post with a photo of a vehicle being worked on by @mrblaine, I noticed the driver's side "trail rated" badge had been relocated to match the position of the antenna mount on the opposite side. Just thinking of doing that on my driver's and seeing about sticking one over the antenna blanking plate on the opposite...

Lo-Fi KC Hilites

I have an aversion to NASCARing up the TJ with logos and labels.

Kind of like when a dealership gives you a "free" license plate frame with your new car. "So, am I getting a discount or an annual check for the mobile advertising?" KC is cool, but not enough for their bold white stock lettering. A little sandpaper, some trim black spray paint, and it's deemphasized just enough. WARN, on the other hand, rates a logo.

I reinstalled the grill after a repaint, wet sand, and polish. Not too bad for my first attempt at automotive paint and finish.

Also installed that tiny skidplate.

I installed some 6.5 inch kickers in my sound bar and changed the 4x6 in the dash with new kickers.

Ordered a new stereo from Crutchfield, and lucked out with a sound ordinance powered sub that was scratch and dent for 99 bucks. will be installing this weekend.

Pissed off, damn center console screws are stripped, keep turning. Not easy to get a vice grip under the truck where they connect, not even sure those are bolts. Might have to drill them out and replace with longer bolts and a washer or two. Anyone ever had this issue while removing the center console????

Been a while but I thought the plastic console itself was held on by a few screws inside the vehicle.

No under the rear cup holder is two bolts that connect to the body. some weird half ass bolt that you can't get a grip on.

I have some Genrite fenders going on. Still have to wet sand and polish them before installation.
