What did you do to your TJ today?

And we bitch about the weather, whether its summer (too hot) or winter("It's COLD")!

I had spaced my CHMSL bracket up 1/4" using a pair of big ass galvanized washers under each of the bolts that hold the thing on when I got my 31s. Those washers have been damn handy over the years, but I'm starting to get low on them so decided I wanted those 8 back. Bought a 1/4" thick piece of plastic (HDPE) to make a new spacer. Put it on in the dark at 2300 hours, trying to beat the heat. Still hot as balls, and the damn no-see-ums were still attacking my ankles. I put on a long skirt to protect my legs, but ended up having to put repellent on the ankles anyway.

I generally don't like using white plastics outdoors, but this one is completely out of the sun, so it should be OK...

So, it's parked? ;) It was 103 and humid as hell here yesterday. My aluminum shift knob gave me third degrees burns when I got in my Jeep and tried to drive it.

Nope, been driving BB daily this week.

Remember you have paper delivery and door dash hands, naturally they are gonna be tender.......... ;) ;) ;)

@ColoJeep this one is for you. I took this pic 2 days ago around 6pm. In the all day shade of my carport it was 95-96, and the humidity was running mid 50s-60%. (that little haze you can see comes from the humidity) Yesterday we reached 99, and the next 2-3 days we're supposed to be low 100s. Send me a big box of air. :sneaky:

57 would be nice. 6:30 this am was 75 and something around 95% RH, which is pretty typical. I'm in the middle of NC with mountains to our west and coastal winds to our east. Our prevailing winds typically bring warm humid air from the Gulf/Northern Florida, so things stay a little warm and hazy (damp) during summer.

Thanks y’all. Gonna try at it again in the morning with everyone’s input. Hopefully it won’t take too long and piss me off that much!

I got it out! Welding the bigger nut on and working back and forth slowly while spraying Kroil in between did the trick!

My middle finger is pretty tough from flipping off assholes that don't tip after driving 10 miles to bring their lazy ass food. 🤬
p.s. Don't you sell grills to people that can't afford them? Got any free 4th of July sales with BB delivery without fees? Not using the AC will cut your delivery costs.;) 🥳

It’s only 104F now but with no moisture in the atmosphere to absorb any of the solar energy it all reaches the ground. I could cook on the patio pavers.

Try to stay cool my friend ! Pray for a blessing for Willis Carrier's family . You likely couldn't live where you do without Willis hard work and dedication .
