The reason NZ drives on the left is because the UK drives on the left. The reason why the UK drives on the left is because the Romans marched on the left. Why break 2000 years of tradition just because someone invented vehicles?

Last few days went like this:
After finishing the the JK axle swap, I went to pick up the LJ from my buddies shop. My new O’Reilly’s battery bit the dust. Purchased in March. (To be fair, it had been drained an excessive amount of times before I found the cause).
O’Reilly’s won’t warranty it, because it’s under the PO’s number. Paid full price for a new battery after arguing with them for an hour just to get back on the road.
Parking brake stopped engaging and began to run into an issue with a soft brake pedal.
Get home. Had to put on my half doors I bought months ago, because stopping isn’t as important.
Initial inspection in the driveway reveals this clip repeatedly popping off.
Quick adjustment to bring back my parking brake.
Then I develop a high idle issue next time I start the Jeep. Turns out to be the TB cable getting stuck. Before figuring that out, I thought it to be a vacuum leak. I wasted a few bottles of starting fluid and whole day to no avail.
Finally figured out my brakes by following Blaine’s advice and found a brake line the was coming into contact when I fully cranked to the left. Was a super simple fix at the end of the day.

re shot the temp gun on the fuel rail- a 20 degree hotter day and significantly longer errand run then the baseline- - running 25 degrees cooler(148 degrees) $10 of heater hose for the win- maybe black zipties would look a little more tidy.
Wrapped the #3 injector again (over the TSB wrap) since the silver wrap didn’t last.
This stuff is thicker and rated to 1800*f so I hope this along with the hood louver will stop the p0303 code that’s been popping up recently (111*f ambient today).

Swapped out old exterior door handles for new.
Looks great man I’ll definitely keep this in mind. What size heater hose did you go with?
split a 3/4 heater hose for the fuel rail and over the rubber supply hose. 3/8 fuel line slit will cover the metal line- I went ahead today and cover the whole pressure side of the fuel line past the the dual cats down to the frame.

Today I spent an hour pointlessly driving around creating unnecessary emissions just to get the stupid PCM to say it is ready for the emissions test. I failed and today was the last day for my tags.
Looks like I have to do TSB 25-001-07 tomorrow, which means disconnecting the battery, which means starting again from scratch.
Then I will have to drive around for a couple of hours on expired tags creating more unnecessary emissions just to get the PCM to say it is ready.
Sigh.

I've completed the Chrysler drive cycle (setting all of the monitors) on jackstands in my driveway.
A little beach fun. Trailer hub replacement. Thankfully I always carry tools on a long trip since I drive a 26 year old Jeep
Drove it to my local Sheetz and filled it up for $1.77 a gallon. Then took my Tahoe and the wife’s Grand Cherokee to the same station and filled them up for $1.77 a gallon

My friend sent me a screenshot of that deal and I thought it was fake. I'm seeing a lot of $1.77 on gasbuddy lol. Oh well, closest Sheetz to me is in Ohio. Never realized how local of a chain it is.
