What did you do to your TJ today?

I needed a vacation this was the quickest way. Plus I got a cool helicopter ride for the first time in my life lol unfortunately it was just a freak accident at work but it could have been worse. I was able to muster up the willpower to pull my arm out of the running conveyor belt and then dial 911 as I was walking across the building for help. I was the only calm one on the scene lol

It just shows that when things go to shit, it happens very, very FAST. Prayers out, incense to be lit!

Another question would the loop on your line just bolt on to the side portion of the drum of the winch with precaution of putting it on right ?
No, the loop is for the thimble to go through so you wind up basically lassoing the drum. It can't come off at that point and if you tape the tail down across the drum, that provides enough resistance to lock the line down so it will spool in without slipping. There is an illustrated tutorial in the recovery section.

That is a fact. Construction accidents are the same way.

True story -

Contractor had a truss collapse- bad news in construction. The roof system falls and workers are in it, on it and under it.

The American worker wants time off, work comp, etc.

The Guatemalan guys got up dusting themselves off going “good fall, good fall”

To help someone else out since I don't plan to get stuck..
