...because seeing someone working on their own vehicle is a bit of an oddity these days, I suppose.
Not without a degree in I.T. and a laptop hooked up to it.
With the amount of computers in our vehicles these days it won’t be long before fixing it will be just a case of switching it off waiting a minute and then turn it back on again

Did the hotheads deed... because summer is around the corner, and with the black top, it's 15 minutes in survival mode until the ac catches up. Worthy? We'll see. Did the sound strips while I was on it. No sense in doing things twice.

Exactly how I taught one of my buddies a few months ago on my tj. He bought a manual jk shortly after.

I was a master of the two-finger salute (hold Power and Next Track buttons together for 5 seconds) for rebooting it up until the latest update.
I haven't had to do it yet with the latest version.
Now I'll probably have to do it today.
Changed out my crankshaft position sensor and still have bogged acceleration…

That would drive me insane. Maybe it's because I work in IT, but none of the tech in cars impresses me. It all seems poorly executed and more of a distraction than something helpful. Carplay is the only exception, but the last thing I want to do on my way home from work is interact with another screen.
Took me a 2nd to realize that airplane isn't riding on 33's & trying to wheel stack.
IDK if anyone has heard of Amazon Vine, but it's a private site (invite only) within Amazon where you can try products for free & review them. Anyway, I just got a t-case cable shifter. I'm sure this will trigger someone because it's most likely a copy made in China, but free is free. I'll compare to the Savvy I have on my 97.

It's not all that common that it happened, maybe once a month if that?
It's just that you remember the issues and tend to forget the majority of the time that it's OK.
Latest update from about 6 months ago is really stable.
Mine is SYNC 3 so it's light years better than the early versions running Microsoft SYNC.
Supposedly SYNC 4 is another big improvement.
I have wireless Carplay and it launches as soon as I start the truck, so Carplay is really the only thing I interface with.
The reason I would have to restart SYNC was almost always due to Waze hanging up in Carplay.
Wife is tired of the dust. Misses her Costco! I like it here myself.
I pulled a worn out four banger in favor of a TJ 4.0l in a 95 YJ. Found a three speed Otto, and two Waggy 44’s with Detroits and 4.56 gears. 4” spring under lift and 33’s. 3000 rpm’s at 60 mph I recall. Wish I never sold that Jeep!
I recently saw a video of a Cybertruck pulling off the lot brand new and having an immediate steering failure. The massive touch screen came up with so much text it looked like the driver was supposed to read a legal document while driving.

Might not be far off, looks like that Super Cub is sporting something in the neighborhood of 31" bush tires. I suspect @Azsupercub can likely confirm the size.
I can't imagine my vehicle dumping a stack trace to the radio screen...
Although I really really really need Tesla to be successful for reasons that are covered by an NDA.
We had the Microsoft version in a 2012 Lincoln. The version in the 2021 Expedition is much better, but still not flawless. Like sometimes when *my* phone is serving up Spotify, the volume knob will only control the navigation prompt volume. Connect my wife's phone, problem solved. Connect my phone back up, issue comes back. Try a random amount of time later, everything is great.
I swear the testing suite probably identified some of these issues but some PM was like "meh, it says SYNC so they already kinda expect it to suck. Send it."
