What did you do to your TJ today?

Jeep feels kinda sluggish and strained. No codes. So just to rule it out, I pulled the cats today. They are in good shape - now I have to find some bolts and flag nuts to install it again. Any suggestions?

I made me some from ace hardware,if your talking about the 4 bolts to the manifolds,I just bought some metric shoulded bolts and had to cut em down a little (lots of copper antiseze

My Jeep did this a few months ago but it was random.

Some days it ran fine, some days it had no power.

Turned out to be a sticking brake caliper.

All my trips are local so I never really got them too hot.

I felt the wheels after a trip to the store and the left front was very hot.

Replaced the front calipers and all is well.

Just something easy to check.

Well, good news...auto parts are now so terrible they're self combusting in the store now instead of two weeks after I installed a brand new parts.

Dorman has a set that you can look up by application, all the Dorman bolt kits I've used seemed to be good quality.

Having the ability to lift it high enough to drive under, along with that strapping technique makes it a breeze compared to what I was/am dealing with.
I have always secured the straps perpendicular to this, making it far less stable than how you do it.
At least I was able to convince the wife to swap the TJ hardtop for a "good" soft top.
We almost always ran the cheap soft top and had to store the hard top on a standing rack; simply put, it was in the way all the time.

After seeing your approach, I may reinvestigate my ceiling to see if I can find some strategic eyehook locations.
