Novak Conversions Jeep Wrangler TJ radiator

What did you do to your TJ today?

Installed the new CSF radiator today. This was probably mentioned before, but the OEM fan shroud screws don’t work with the new radiator. Have a decent metric bolt collection and found correct fasteners. New upper and lower hoses, minimal mess. Four beer job.

Which model?

I got my valve cover off!! now I am able to replace gasket with a little video help and reading the issues other people have had when diy. Thanks you tube!!

I was able to remove everything easily, by hand and with only 8mm, 10mm & 13mm socket, also used extensions and flex/swivel head, removed dipstick bracket bolts and easily was able to get to the middle bolt very easily.

First attempt and first time doing this! Love the JEEP Family! Now do I have other things to worry about with the way this looks?

The chipmunks stole the cap to my washer fluid bottle. Where the heck do I find a replacement for just that.
Isn't that your coolant overflow bottle? Also, if you're serious, and chipmunks did that, I'd take a good look to see if there is a stash of acorns in there before just replacing the cap...

I flushed the coolant out and changed the sensor and thermostat as I had a P0128 fault. That’s fixed now.

But when was taking of the thermostat house. I noticed two bolts without any nuts.. I put a nut on it to keep the wires in place but it looks like there’s something missing. Does anyone know?

On my 4.0 that plastic wire loom housing just pushes onto the top of the threaded stud -it has locking tabs to keep it in place. It was a royal pain to pull it off.

They chewed up the washer fluid hose and some of my hood liner then left a pile of acorns below the injectors for the exhaust manifold to roast. Going to try the ol' peppermint spray all over to keep them at bay a bit.

Ordered via the affilliate link, thanks y'all. Glad this brought some laughs as well.

I found acorns in my air filter box the other day when I was changing the filter.
