What grinds your gears?

Oh, that was hilarious, Squatch! Loved it!
I typically am a fan of a less abrasive style of humor than this, but Chris Porter's "Ugly and Angry" performance (saw it on Netflix) is flippin' hilarious. His facial expressions really add to the humor. It's worth watching, though not exactly appropriate for younger children or the workplace. Just a heads-up...

OK - going through physical therapy for my rotator cuff (actually frozen shoulder as well) first rant is that the insurance company cap on number of visits. It seems that after 8 visits, they stop allowing more, the PT has to get on the phone with them to fight for more. Then I get the EOB in the mail for the visits (EOB= explanation of benefits), the PT bills $170 for each visit. They accept $45 from the insurance company, $40 of that was my co-pay!!! It only costs them $5 per visit.

I think the UAW pays no co-pay, no deductible and no out of pocket on doctors visit. "Nada". and so my friend, you and I are paying for them.

The real Kick in the ass? My wife is a director for this health insurance company for almost 30 years! So far they have eliminated her pension, took away retirement healthcare, and raise our rates and deductible all the time. Here is my union bitch/rant...the union employees in her company still have all that and some of the union employees are sales people making $150 - $200K every year.....and could not hold a job in any capacity in the real world.

I feel so fortunate that the VA is taking care of my frozen shoulder and they have given me many great physical therapy sessions at no charge. And if I need more, no problem. I'm feeling doubly thankful to the VA because they were the first to correctly diagnose my shoulder problem. Several non-VA docs said I had a torn rotator cuff so I went to the VA to see if they'd do the surgery. I got lucky, my VA doc was a shoulder specialist and told me within ten minutes of starting my exam that I got lucky, it was just a frozen shoulder. My shoulder is now about 98% better, it just 'crunches' or pops once in a while when I lift my arm up.

Ha, I guess this wasn't much of a rant was it lol. Thank you VA!!

my father loves the VA. I have 3 partial tears in my rotator, the PT figured out the shoulder was frozen. I have 6 sessions left with PT, then I will sit with a surgeon at Hospital for Special Surgery in NYC. They have done frozen shoulder arthroscopic surgery on a friend to free up the shoulder and she was food shopping the next day. After a few weeks of PT she was flailing her arm all over.

I think some bushing is wearing out. Ball joints needs some greasing. What year and model are you from?
In seriousness, the system should take care of you guys who served our country more than us who didn't. My Dad and uncle (his cousin) are former JAGs.

Good for you! Glad it was an easy fix.
I've had surgery on both shoulders, and all is good now. Was hard on my body when I was younger.

People with advanced college degrees (I work with a bunch) who act like I'm a crook because in the skilled trades, I make equal or more money than them. We all choose our paths...don't hold it against me because I chose the fast track to $.

I’m in a university right now and I can verify that some of the kids in my aerospace classes have only joined for the money and I can’t wait for them to realize no matter what degree you get it won’t make money drop in your lap, believe it or not it takes hard work to make money.

Going out to find that someone has rifled through one of my vehicles pretty much pisses me off. Went out today to jump in the Lincoln, and all the cubbies and such were open, and stuff scattered from Hell to breakfast. Nothing missing. I thought for sure my CDs would be gone, but I guess I either have lousy taste in music, or CDs just aren't a thing, anymore.

I've been leaving the driver's door unlocked, as to lock the car engages the alarm system. Well, one of the four switches in one of the doors is faulty, and the alarm starts going off in the middle of the night. Until I get that resolved, the car stays unlocked, and I take my chances. Still, it's not their f'n property, so stay the hell out!

Too bad its against the law to protect our own property! Wiring in 220 to the door handles would fix the problem.

I think you are getting old, these are just bunch of teens making-out inside your car. No big deal, they are not into your CDs ... just the back seat is all they need :) maybe what goes around comes around?

I had a lifted WJ up until a few years back, which was victim to the same. They pulled it off in a matter of seconds, and rather quietly. I was visiting someone out of town. Woke up in the morning, cranked the engine, and it sounded like a hippo--with really bad gas.
