What is normal voltage supposed to be when driving or idle? Mine is always little less then 14v

Yep that's normal because your alternator (charger) is kicking extra voltage into the battery whenever the engine is running. When the engine is not running, the battery voltage of a charged battery without the alternator running will be around 12.6 volts on the gauge.
