Where do you keep your pistol?

Well here in the Peoples Republic of California your “friend” would be handcuffed and escorted directly to jail and stay there until such time the District Attorney decides what to do with them. The Cops have no choice in the matter, unfortunately. If your “friend” did the same thing in Arizona he would immediately be hailed as a hero. I’ve been reported on once when someone saw my bulge and what a shit show that was. Luckily I always have my permit with me and all was cool afterwards. Unfortunately my parents programmed me to always follow the rules. It’s my biggest fault.
Maybe just tell the DA you're a gang member or just assault someone. Won't they just let you out immediately :)?

When someone saw your bulge?
Look...if you're going to rock a Desert Eagle .50 with a speedo or Under Armor gear well thats holding up a sign. A friend would never roll that way.

A friend in the cold months has a 1911 or Glock 23 in the inner pocket of a leather jacket.
In the warm months it's a Colt Mustang (polymer) .380 in a pocket of Jeans or cargo shorts type thing.

It was my Ruger LCR 38. Unfortunately here in Ca you are allowed only 3 specific weapons on your permit and you must qualify shooting with each. .038 is the smallest you can use. Mine are Springfield XD-40 subcompact, Ruger LCP 9 and LCR 38. It’s hard to conceal when it’s 100 plus outside.

For what it's worth keep in mind that while Tuffy products are great, it is still possible to break into them.

It's possible to break into most bank vaults too but not by the average dumb-ass street thief. Tuffy's products are strong enough to deter all but the most determined and well equipped non-opportunistic thief.

Sometimes Tuffy’s can be difficult to open with the key.

I had some aholes break into the locked side boxes of my work truck a home depot. I watched the security tape and they were in and gone in 15 seconds 1 guy had the pry bar and the other 2 grabbed my tool boxes out. Over 5k in tools gone like that.
I only leave my gun locked in a vehicle the shortest amount of time possible. The main reason for locking them is to mitigate liability if they do something stupid with them. Unfortunately that’s the world we live in today.

Tufffy says the interior dimensions of the box for flip seats is 2 5/8" high. My winch remote is bigger than that. I really would like to find a place to keep the remote in the Jeep when my big lock box is not in there.

I keep my winch controller in these little canvas bags I got from Amazon. One side has the controller, some gloves and a soft shackle, the other side has a rolled up garbage bag and some basic 1st aid stuff.

The pistol is always on my hip, but Oregon is looking to change the laws and make it a felony to cary if in a "safe zone" so that may change.

The Home Depot guys usually have someone follow you into the store while they are one there cell phone with the other guys outside so they know your not about to come right back out before they get what the want from your vehicle
