Where would you mount an air compressor?

I bought an ARB compressor in a bag. I might mount it one day, but for the 5-6 times a year I actually have to use it to air down/up popping the hood & connecting it to the battery isn't a big deal.

Unfortunately I dont think it will fit! Its a bit bigger than the arb one!

Thanks for the answer though!
My Viair is on that tray now 480C for size comparison. Tomorrow my dual ARB arrives so it will be swapped out soon.

X2 on the tray under the brake booster, that's where I have my ARB compressor, it wasn't easy putting it because you barley have any room to work with, but that's where a lot of people put them.

If you have a later model TJ with the evap canister in the back, you could mount the compressor like this.

Does the dual ARB fit on the tray below the brake booster or just the single?

Thats right about where my rubicon locker pumps are.
My locker pumps are mounted on the fender just in front of the Viair compressor. Everything fits there in the later models with the evap canister in the back. I have the compressor for the auxiliary braking system mounted on the anti-lock tray.

Here’s what my setup looks like with the air chuck attachment and the solenoid for the arb in the rear.
