I picked a super winch lp8500 because it was a cheap NIB on craigslist. I do plan on upgrading it someday. Its incredibly slow.

Friend still married?I have an older than my Jeep Warn HS9500I that they don’t make anymore. I wanted it because a few friends had it and it’s super fast. So when I started looking I had a friend of mine that had one he wanted to sell so he could buy his GF a wedding ring, so $600 later I picked it up. That friend had originally bought it from another one of our friends dad who had sold his Jeep so he gave me a winch plate he had made for it to work on a stock bumper. 16 years later I still have the winch and it still pulls awesome, the only thing I’ve had to do to it was pull the case off to grease the free spool gear and I only had to do that this year.
No idea, I haven’t talked to them in a dozen or so years. Nothing personal, just nothing in commonFriend still married?
Just wondered if the winch lasted longer. No idea, I haven’t talked to them in a dozen or so years. Nothing personal, just nothing in common
I bought my M8000s because Wranglertjforum told me to.
You specifically have said Smittybilt winches suck. When asked directly what parts fail you are silent. No examples, no pictures, no videos. Nobody that I know of says Warn sucks, most of us just can't afford them so we get a Chinese alternative. Funny how you turned that around there. You can post whatever you want here but it ain't all gospel.I also know that is the exact reason that folks will NOT purchase their winches because to them it is more important to say Warn sucks, than get something with a proven reputation in both product and support.
