Chris told me the same thing about the light, but there could possibly be some way to get it on but not any easy simple solution.
I'm far from an electrician so I might not ever figure out an indicator light unless someone else does and I could copy what they did.
Well I "MIGHT" have figured it out.... Will know more in a few days. If I get it working I'll let you know and how to copy what I did.
Yeah, I'm not very concerned about if I get this light hooked up since if I can't remember or at the very least look down at the shifter and know what state the transfer case is in, I probably shouldn't be behind the wheel.. LOL
Mine is a little easier to KNOW since I have different shifters. I can mess with my shifters and most people wouldn't know how to get it back into gear to drive it. Well other than my knobs are inscribed. Take them off and put standard knobs on and people would be confused.
Put the middle shifter in Neutral & the Jeep won't go anywhere....
