Hit a major cold snap here. Jeep ran fine until we hit -30. Starts fine, seems to go into gear. Park brake feels like it is releasing. Have it in four high, transfer case will not go into either four low or two wheel drive. It's a 2002 sport, just replaced the trans fluid with redline mtl. Haven't done the transfer case or diff fluids yet. It revs up normally but once in gear it will big down and die without moving. Not sure what to check. Any advice would be appreciated

So it last drove fine, you parked it and the temps dropped to -30 and now it wont move?? Was it rainy/snowy wet when you parked it? I ask because Ive had brake shoes freeze to the drums after the got a bit to wet from water crossings or lots of snow flying around.
No rain. Lots of snow. I'm leaning towards park brake frozen. But the transfer case not moving is throwing me off
Also I know it's underpowered, but will the park brake make it not move? Normally can drive through them
Well guess it depends on how hard you try to get it moving. Once glued frozen together them parts stick pretty good. Get a heat gun or steal the wifes hair dryer and try to thaw them out. The linkage might be iced up as well is all I can think of with regards to not being able to shift or things may be a tad bound up after parking it and now it basically unmovable. Once you can move it I bet you'd be able to shift back to 2wd.
Sounds like it is frozen. I have heard of tires freezing to the ground and not wanting to move. Can you pull it a bit to see if you can break free what ever is froze?
