Bushings aren't normally that tough. The angle looks like it was tightened on a lift but I'm grasping at any straw to figure this out. The upper mount normally will let that piece rotate around the bolt easily but the bent edges at the arm section pointing outward at almost 90 degrees to the arm suggest that something is odd. Perhaps the front of the mount isn't rounded like normal, the arm was tightened on a lift and then it couldn't rotate to follow the arm. That would bend it right where the two broken flanges are and then driving would crack them until we see what is there. It would have to catch on the front of the mount to do that though.
