Thanks Cisco Kid. Him and my 5 year old son love Tj. Both gear heads, wonder why, lol. Two more future Jeepers added to the family.

Decided to find out why my under hood light has never worked. After popping the cover off and finding no bulb installed the light went off over my head. Installed a new bulb and still nothing. Pulled the housing to clean the contacts and discovered the motion dealio was stuck in the closed position. Gave it a shake and it freed up and now works like a charm. Ordered up some superbright LED bulbs for it, the domes, and back up lights, cause....LED!

Link is for 98, change vehicle to yours and it will pull all the bulbs you need.

Nice! Does that bulb replace your backup light bulbs? I ordered some myself as well as LED's for the dome lights.

Yes.... It replaced the back up light bulb.

Mixed feelings today....Got my new head light switch and installed it today and just like magic my headlights work again....However when I pulled the old switch out I did notice some melting on the receiving end of the switch....(not sure if this happened before I got Bruiser or after, gonna have to watch it and eventually replace that too )

"Started" off my Saturday right(heh, Dad joke) and replaced my starter. Sucks I had to drop $150 on a new one to replace a 6 month old starter over a stupid broken solenoid bolt, but it had to be done and I'll trust a Napa Premium over an AC Delco.

New wheels and tires. I tired of the black coated Canyons so was going to strip them and paint. Holy shit, that clear coat is tough. Strippers, wire wheels, even bought a media blaster with no luck. To have them professionally powder coated was 140 per wheel and these were on sale for 90 so it was a no brainer. Not a fan of the caps so that part is still up in the air. I also wanted an aggressive all terrain, which is kind of an oxymoron. After a search, @Chris beloved Duratrac won out

Installed Aux fuse relay box When doing a mod/upgrade try to do as little cutting hole drilling as possible. Moved horn brackets around a bit, mounted using existing threaded holes

Mounted the DIWhy sliders... we’ll see how they hold up. Had to drill where there is access to the back of the tub hence the limited fasteners.

I can’t see them holding up to extreme abuse, but at least I have the ability to jack from them in a pinch.

Better than nothing I suppose
