Thanks! I actually just scored a press today that someone was throwing away and I was able to snag .I don't recall if you have a press but if you don't bring it over and we can straighten it out in no time.
For the tie rod....

Get some giant nuts and weld them to one side of the pins that hold the shelf in place. It will ensure they don't fall out while working on it.

Wolf - Did it come with the standard cast arbor plates? I so, I suggest tossing them as they tend to shatter - sometimes dangerously (ask me how I know). Pick up some steel plates if you can. Thanks! I actually just scored a press today that someone was throwing away and I was able to snag .

Tank Trap?Since the snow was inaccessible last weekend I decided to take the family to hollister for New Years day. It was pretty fun I was expecting it to be a lot more busier than it was. Most of the people stayed at the bottom at the mud pits and didn’t go up into the hills

No I stayed away from there, it was pretty wet so I imagine the holes on that obstacle are small pondsTank Trap?
Another question , how do I figure out what u joint I need for my Dana 44? I have no Idea where to start
Thanks!
So I was plugging away and was getting close to finishing the axle swap. I got the sway bar and shock mounts welded on

of course since everything was going easy I found out that the XJ Dana 44 I’m building has a different axle flange bolt pattern than a TJ, it is slightly bigger. And since this axle came with no brakes I’m at a standstill on what I can do. There are no backing plates that I can find for a 96-90 xj Dana 44
Yea it is 3 5/16 by 2 in ,Dang some nice welds being laid down.
Do you have the measurements for the flange size?
