A burglar broke into a house one night. He shined
his flashlight around, looking for valuables when
a voice in the dark said,
"Jesus knows you’re here."
He nearly jumped out of his skin, clicked his flashlight
off, and froze. When he heard nothing more, after a
bit, he shook his head and continued.
Just as he pulled the stereo out so he could
disconnect the wires, clear as a bell he heard
a voice....say,
"Jesus is watching you."
Freaked out, he shined his light
around frantically, looking for the source of the voice.
Finally, in the corner of the room, his flashlight beam
came to rest on a parrot.
"Did you say that?" he hissed at the parrot.
"Yep", the parrot confessed, then
squawked,
"I’m just trying to warn you that he is
watching you."
The burglar relaxed.
"Warn me, huh? Who in the world are you?"

"I'm Moses." replied the bird.
"Moses?" the burglar laughed.

Guys at work say there's kids at some of the local schools identifying as cats. Apparently they were using the bathroom in the floor because they didn't have litter boxes. WTF....I guess if we're in a fairy tale, anything goes.

Maybe we need to bring back rituals like stuff you'd see in Dazed and Confused or manual labor or less HVAC. I bet they'd be out of their costumes pretty quick in July digging a ditch.

I have to get buzzed in through security. There is a person, with a tri-color man bun, big ass holes in his ears, wearing skinny jeans and a jacket. He was obviously gay by the way he spoke. He announced he was there for a job interview.
I'm thinking to myself.... "This is the type of person, I want teaching my kids?"
The security guard, obviously a real American, just shook his head.

Yep, we ended up pulling our kids from school (the oldest is in 3rd grade). The school they were going to (a charter school) doesn't have any of this nonsense. However, I said to my wife, "Do you really want someone teaching our kids who doesn't actually care about them?".

I mean who cares about our kids more than we do? For that reason we decided it was best to pull them and teach them ourselves.

This is going to get worse before it gets better. These people are mentally ill and the last place they need to be is in the education system.

Just another reason I love living where I do. This community is so tight it's not dissimilar from a HUGE family. Lots of bickering and feuding from time to time but when it comes to the kids of this community, only a mindless fool would try indoctrinating or in any other way harming our kids/grandkids. This part of the country isn't very far removed from the "Old West" mentality.

I remember being in the first grade and watching my mom tell the principal to "go ahead and swat his ass if he gets out of line". But that's how it was for all of us then. You dressed properly and respected the staff.

Makes me glad my girls are all out of that BS.... then again... it makes me sad that my 1 year old grandson will have to navigate this BS in a few years.

I paid up for Private School. It was still run by Nuns then. None of this went on with Sister Eleanor..... Think the "Penguin" from Blues Brothers.....

My sister home schooled her two kids and both were accepted to college at age 17 and were in the top .5% on the SAT nationally. She didn't think she was doing enough for them at the time.....
