I just installed a new head unit in my son's 2001 TJ.
Everything works perfectly except there is a clicking sound (likely a relay) that sounds like it's coming from the instrument cluster when jeep is completely off.
It starts a few seconds after removing the key and then never stops till you turn the key.
Jeep cranks and starts no problem.
If you unhook the head unit, it goes away.
Any ideas what this might be?

I would check your orange wire in your after market wire harness. It should be for limitation. Try wiring it to your red wire and see if that fixes it.

Thanks for the reply.
I had ended up figuring it out.
It was the factory subwoofer choke relay that is powered by the power antannae wire.
I just removed the relay since I am going to be putting in an aftermarket amp and sub anyways.
