Help with the SwayLOC

He can definitely try it out and see what happens…

I was just going by the picture of his Antirock. Seems like he gets into it pretty heavily. With the double bars on the passenger side pushing the SwayLoc out even more I figure he will probably eat into a SwayLoc even more…

FWiW, I'm fairly certain mine digs in more than his does. And when I eventually pull the tires in another 1/4", they will dig more. If it irritates me enough, the most I will do is lengthen the links a small amount to get the arm higher on the tire.

I dont think it really matters if it rubs. Obviously the company would not have designed it the way they did and had mass sells if this was a major issue. By this time in one’s build they are used to the front tires rubbing an AR, shock towers, et al. Without issue. If it bothers you add some washers to the steering stops.

Or just back off on the steering a bit when it rubs. This isn't happening at the grocery store. I want full steering all other times there isn't tire rub.

My wheels with 3.75” backspacing and 33x12.50” tires just kisses the manual SwayLoc’s sliding mechanism from what I consider normal street driving. Haven’t had the SwayLoc off-road as of yet but I’m not overly worried about it…

Was it hard to install the swayloc?I need to remove my Currie, for more stability with the rtt

Mine rubs at full lock on the street. I need to take time to adjust the arm further up.

I should preface that running 4 washers under the steering stops did keep it from rubbing but reduced the steering radius too much. That sucked much more than rubbing. I am running no washers now and just let it rub.

My axle isn't perfectly centered either with just a redrill on the axle for the track bar.

Excuse the mud, we went to mountains this weekend and it still needs a wash.

I remember doing some obstacle where everyone stops, gets out and watches eachother. When I did it a couple people told me you are rubbing your AR arms. I was like so? My rear tire rubs the rear AR pretty hard when going sharply around a left corner on the street. That one I am a bit more annoyed with.

Thanks,is it a lot more stiffer(stable)on the hiway,is the best place to buy it oro?

It's much more stiff on the highway vs an antirock. It's actually stiffer than the factory bar. I was warned when I got mine that it would make me want more engine... He wasn't wrong.

Here is the wear I'm seeing. 35x12.5-17 tires on 4 inch backspacing. 4" spring lift and 1.25 body lift.

Poly Performance sells it with free shipping, no tax, and has 10% off codes on occasion. They will likely have another code for the 4th of July. I got mine from them for about $620 with the code for New Year's Day.

It’s a little more involved than the Antirock, but essentially the same process. There are a couple good installation threads online/here. The hardest part for me was installation of the main bar and bushings. Some all-thread and big washers helped with pressing those in…
