Spot on but I’m not sure why it’s directed at me. I don’t recall being the party who dared complain about savvy CS.
Sort of-
I picked the Novak cable to be included in the first iteration of the Under Armor all inclusive package. It was okay, but it became obvious quickly that there were some improvements that needed to be made. Gerald was buying them 50 at a time from Novak to send out with the U/A. We got tired of having to drill the tub holes out to make the bolt pattern work and the angle on the tub side was wrong to keep the cable where it exits the housing from excessive wear. There was an issue with the adapter bushing in that the snout was too long and the ball stud would wobble.
I got in touch with them and asked if they wanted me to carefully modify one and send it over to be duplicated to make it a better product since that would be good for their customers and good for Savvy. They declined and about the same time they raised the price to Gerald by an insane amount and then all but stopped deliveries leaving Savvy high and dry without a shifter solution. Gerald said that was enough of that crap and asked me to design one. I started with a tub I have to get the angle correct and worked with a local cable manufacturer (Control Cables) to build one from scratch.
I could make a case for Novak ripping me off since I was doing custom cable shifters long before they came out with their product. But, there again, cable shifters have been in use on the TJ since 97, so did I rip them off, was I ripped off?
Not really, cables used in push/pull applications is nothing new or inventive. Just a way to make something work.
Just so you know, this isn't the first time I've explained and while I really should follow the rule that it is not wise to explain, your friends don't need it and you aren't going to change the opinions of the fuckwits, at least now, you can repeat the accurate version.
I don’t blame anyone for starting these threads. If you were relatively new to the Jeep scene and ordered a bunch of Savvy parts without knowing about their lack of customer service beforehand, you’d probably be surprised in for a shock.
This isn’t exclusive to Savvy by any means. I know companies like this in the gun industry as well as many other industries.
The reason they are all still in business is because they build products that are above and beyond what others build.
I always feel bad for the guys who start these threads because they don’t know what so many of us have known for such a long time.![]()

And thank you for driving my point home.
You get your engine yet?
...Ok now for my question ... "fait attention si vous plais"
I really want new rockers.

Yep. Me too. And several others here want them, too. Word is no time soon but I AM paying attention in case that changes. Didn't know many from Kansas spoke French? Not that I do, but I was there once, which really reinforced the point.

I don't have any of their parts but do recognize the purpose-built quality as a result of much research here and taking notes from many who are much more knowledgeable on the topic than I. Based on that, I decided I wanted a set, saw they were out of stock and registered my email with them to get notified once back in stock. That was several months ago.ok so i came here to post a similar question..
but kinda different..
In april i ordered a 3" lift from them
came about a month later, even though (a. i called twice and they never picked up maybe more.. and b. i emailed twice and they never emailed me back)
hey as long as expectations are set.. i'm fine with it..
I got the lift installed about a month ago and man..
going from rusted out oe. control arms, borderline deathrattle in the back and worn out suspension (especially shocks) - - now, the jeep drives like its on rails ... reminds me of my s2000 in terms of handling. (i know i'm exaggerating here but.. ) but the drive inspires confidence..

I want to hold out for the savvy rockers. I have read all the threads .. and this is the one that i want.
That said.. it says these are out of stock..Would anyone know.. are they out of stock and being discontinued? or just wait on the site and it'll magically appear one day?
i can't call or email so I was hoping someone here could help me out..
I am concerned because i have seen a few manufactures discontinue LJ/TJ products especially niche products so thats why i'm asking.
TY in advance

Yes and so does B&M, which I just learned last night. But from what I have read about Steinjager they're in 3rd place behind Savvy and Novak. I dunno anything about B&M's yet.
Nvidia. Far better drivers and support.
