Dang, went to Amazon to buy another cable shifter, nothing available …
I will say this… regardless of communication, their products work. Not like “rough country” work, but work in a way you can rely on the parts and appreciate their operation. Good stuff.
I’d rather keep savvy in a dark closet with savvy pounding out metal Jeep parts than turn into an internet advertising superstar, I don’t need butt kissing emails or coddling messages to remind me my money is spent and something is coming. I pay, you tell me when to expect product, product arrives, product installs fine and works for long time… THATS ALL I WANT!
I really hope SAVVY is able to produce product for us, long into the future even if it’s in a custom order basis… far too many of our products are drying up and disappearing…
I just ordered a hand made heater core, FOURTEEN WEEKS to make… that’s ok, I purchased on that expectation and expect no communication unless something changes … but you bet your butt I’ll be calling week 15!

Two concerns but I'd need to see one work to know if they are valid. First is the rubber well nuts, not due to them being a well nut but how thick the washer side will be under the carpet on the side of the tran tunnel. The second is the tub side mount looks fairly thin and I wonder if it stabilizes the cable housing well enough.
I can only guess which fuckwit is skewing things again and I'd not likely be wrong. Two things I left out, one of the big things that was wrong with the Novak base plate for the tub side is the angles of the 4 tabs that land against the inside of the tub were not even close.
The second biggest thing is I don't like any part of Savvy having a cable shifter. My design philosophy is and has always been to not put a product out there that exists and does what it should do. There should be no reason for Savvy to sell their own cable shifter. Novak should have been quite happy to supply them forever and I'm not sure why they didn't want to do that.
If anyone is interested, this is who makes the cables for Savvy. I used them for years before any TJ cable shifters were made for the cables I used for stuff.

It's getting increasingly difficult to to take him seriously anymore.
I work with enough push/pull controls at my job to know that any movement other than the cable itself is wasted and will bite you in the ass at some point. That is why I do not understand the Well nuts.
On the face, they do work, we don't lose condensers in the grill in the TJ and they are held in with 4 smaller than those versions. The length of the bracket and that leverage in favor should hold it well enough to stop unwarranted movement. I suspect they looked at the isolation grommets on the factory version and tried to mimic that, albeit poorly.

I have an east facing garage and even before or at sunrise, it's already 90deg.
I ordered a Saavy gas tank skid on the 5th it showed up yesterday, but I am local. I went on the site they showed 3 in stock.
I was planning to use my trans jack to reinstall mine, but my trans is sitting on it currently. Ratchet straps work too if you have something to hang them on. I installed AC in my garage last year so I’m kinda cheating.
You are not my favorite person right now.
