Savvy Mid-Arm Deliveries?

Savvy's most immediate need is to address just one of the two issues: 1) deliver products quickly, or 2) communicate with your customers. Addressing just one of those two would go a long way... The first one is hard to do if you don't control 100% of the manufacturing process (starting with mining bauxite). However, the second one is much easier to do.

Since this thread has devolved into another Savvy customer service thread, please allow me to repost the original purpose for me creating the thread:

Since Savvy is not known for communicating, and believe me, I've tried all means without success, I'm wondering when the last time someone received one (a Savvy mid-arm kit) was and how long it was on order. Also, how many others are waiting on a mid-arm kit?

Being unable to communicate with Savvy, I'm trying to gather data to figure out how much longer I could be waiting...

Thanks, all!

There is no set pattern to the wait time, and trying to find one is a waste of time and effort.

Even before all this supply chain mess started, it took me 9-10 weeks to get my front bumper when I ordered it couple years ago. It all depends on when you ordered, and when they put the order to the machine shop.

I suspect that the brackets are the hold-up for my order because they do seem to be shipping stock-length control arms somewhat periodically and manufacturing mid-arm control arms would be very similar to manufacturing stock-length controls arms (assuming they are made from the same rod stock - maybe not). If you want to do the mid-arm in the spring, I'd suggest ordering the truss now, especially if the cost is not an issue. I'm at almost six months waiting, which is the time frame from fall to spring you mention.

Well I went ahead and put my order in now just in case. The only scary thing for me on this is if it actually comes earlier. Then I'm "forced" to start my front end sooner :D

Honestly if they could simply communicate like a normal adult in 2022, everything else would work itself out. Instead they just take your money and leave you in the dark, like how a 4th grader operating a business would do.

I've seen loose patterns to lead times for some of Savvy's products. For instance, body lifts and TC cables seem to be available in weeks, not months, most of the time. Stock-length control arms seem to be shorter lead times, too, although I've seen fewer posts about those. TC skid (tummy tuck) and gas tank skid lead times seem fairly long. I rarely see comments on lead times for the mid-arm kits (which is not surprising because they probably don't sell a bunch of them).

Um. Isn't that essentially what my post implied:

Do they actually back Savvy or the quality of the parts? There is a difference.

I actually don't see the difference, because they are tied together. You back one, you back the other! Personally if I was the owner of a company with so many complaints, I would try everything to remedy it, so my company would have a quality part as well as satisfied customers! Nothing can destroy a company faster than word of mouth. With the lack of response and delivery makes me want to believe that they don't give two shits about their customers and are relying on the quality of their parts to sustain them. Also the loyalist on these forums. Mr. Blaine I commend you and your company. You make a superior product, it gets delivered fast and when I had questions, you answered your phone and helped me out. That is excellent customer service with great parts! That is what Savvy should be! By the way I have called, emailed and messengered them everyday this week and I have received nothing back!

This forum deserves better than long useless bitch threads like this that do nothing but piss people off and cause disagreements.

I absolutely agree. However, to use two overused phrases, "it is what it is," and "desperate times call for desperate measures."

Edited to add: I knew this thread would go down this path (and I didn't post it without due consideration), but since I can't control the delivery of my parts, I can solicit for the experience of others that both helps to pass the time and gives me some indication on lead time, however random that timeframe may actually be.

Apologies to all for leading us down another of these threads, but it is a bit therapeutic for me, so thank you for putting up with me!

I do not have any Savvy products on my Jeep (I did have BL but it has been all but removed) but I believe in and support in the Savvy Business model. Freedom to run a business the way you want and to make it or break it on your own. There is nothing that says that anyone has to run a business in a particular manner (other than meeting local, state, and federal laws). If they are able to make the profit that they are looking for using their current model, good for them. You are free to provide them feedback and you are free to purchase or not purchase from them, but just because you think a business needs to operate in a certain way does not make it necessary.

Just a general statement, not aimed at anyone in particular.

Another point worth making is that if we ban all discussions like this and the banter that ensues, you take away people’s voices (as silly as some may be) and with it you take away some of the soul and free will of what would otherwise be an open discussion.

I have some ideas about how to mitigate this, but that’s another discussion for another thread.

Savvy has the right to run their business how they choose and people have their right to react accordingly.

If people don't like these threads there are other threads to visit.

I haven't encountered the issues with Savvy other than I wish they'd let me order bumpers.

The correct mitigation is for people to either not read or not post in a thread where there is content they don't like.

Edit: Of course there is another alternative, blocking!
