2 inch body lift after 4 inch suspension lift?

dude i absolutely love your jeep, like that’s my final results when i get there. so you said you have a 4in lift but do you have 33’s or 35’s

However, now that this thread had been reopened, I've always wondered why the goto BL is 1.25.
There has to have been some mod or accessory that required 1.25 instead of the more common 1".
Also, what if that mod or accessory would have required 1.5".
Would everyone then be preaching 'no higher than 1.5'?

The 1.25" body lift pairs well with a 1" motor mount lift. Savvy skid with the 241 is a decent fit with the 1.25" body lift. Raising the gas tank an inch up to the rear shock crossmember is helped a lot with an 1.25" body lift. More recently, the Savvy mid arm fits best with 1.25".

The 2" body lift looks stupid whether or not the 1.25" had ever been invented by whoever invented it.

And as previously mentioned, fuel filler, radiator fan, manual transmission shifters can already be on the edge of ok at 1.25 and are sure to need addressed at anything higher.

On top of that, if your goal is to have less suspension lift but still total the 5.25-ish needed for 35s, all you gain by having a 3" lift instead of 4 is a harder time finding shocks the right length.

I have the 4in lift and 2 in body lift, looks good to me, no issues at all.
