OMG. What a fun day. Let's see if I make it into the final editing of their video. I'll make a post of the pics I took over in the wheeling trip section.
You are very welcome. BTW- Day trips or multi-day for tuna and whatnot? Point Loma?
Next Saturday …gonna try to get some done this week at night. Come down if ya can.
Thanks bud, I have to say even my wife noticed the difference in the ride quality between the Rubicon and my old Sport.
I also changed the oil today!!!!!
I share the same sentiment on the RS5000X. The fronts felt fine on my last Jeep but the rears still felt way too stiff. When I had people in the back seat the rears felt really really good but we’re talking about 350lbs of extra weight.
Replaced my year old $25 motor and transmission mounts with Mopar and man, what a difference!
Rides so smooth. No vibes at all.
That's a good preventative maintenance item to add to my list.
When you decide to do it, it’s worth paying for the mopar mounts. They make a world of difference. The cheaper off brand mounts are much stiffer and cause bad vibrations.
One of my all time favorite experiences was a 6 pack charter 6 day on the Kanani Kai (58' Hatteras) to Guadalupe Island. Great skipper, great deckhand, very good cook. Put us on fish and kept us there.
Well I’m a bit slow, but I got the transmission pan on and the temperature gauge is working. So far no leaks!

Got lucky at a pick your part junkyard that rarely gets Wranglers and they are usually just YJs. This time they had a fire damaged TJ with lots of aftermarket goodies that was just put in the yard Friday so there was still plenty to get. Got a full set of tub armor, Fishbone fenders, steal fender flares, a 4 position switch bezel, and a stainless steal gas filler bezel for $140. Took me awhile to figure out the black rectangle was the air box. I am planning to go back and grab the incredibly clean frame.

Make sure the loom is secured and can't get fouled in the shift lever when it moves.
Put the hardtop back on, not having a heater and low 30's in the morning just isn't any fun.
Installed the Poison Spyder windshield pillar fog light brackets, I'll get around to installing the fog lights (4" QT LEDs) another time.
Was planning on doing the Savvy TC shifter but tweaked my knee yesterday and just couldn't muster the motivation
