Getting some whistling from the hard top where it meets the windshield. Does anyone have any recommedations how to fix this? I have the original weatherstrip from the factory which has probably broken down over the years and is not providing a proper seal. Not sure if replacements are available. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Replacements are available make sure you buy oem.

You could try stacking some foam or other material in there to try and stop it if you want to be cheap

I'm about to install my first hardtop. Is the weatherstripping that you mention attached to the hard top itself, or is it the rubber gasket on the top of the windshield? Just wondering whether I'm missing something on mine, too.

I have an earlier hardtop on my '03 during winter, there is no weatherstripping on the top itself, it just meets the windshield weatherstripping.

oem windshield header seal was a hard to find item. took about 4 months to get one. was told not to cancel my order as mopar was having some made. took so long to get that i almost fell out when it did arrive. oem quality and wasn’t cheap. fixed my water in the drivers floorboard leak.

So what did you end up buying @Tripbus? I am having the same issue here, and just remembered this thread.

I ended up buying some weather stripping and tucking it between the windshield and hard top. It helped, but plan to look into a more long term solution when I take off the hard top in the spring.
