Hey everyone, I want to start out by saying I appreciate everyone’s help. The jeep is really coming along with your help!

Second, I got the front end completely set up, zj steering, new front track bar. But now that the front is good and steering is tight. I feel a bunch of body roll from the rear. I was told could be rear sway bar and I should order a thicker one. I got under and the rear track bar had a little play. Figured it could also be that? 4 inch lift all suspension. Any advice would help!

Definitely don't need a bigger rear sway bar. We'll need more information, like current suspension and shocks. That said, check all the rear bushings. What track bar do you have?

Current suspension is bilstein shocks. Skyjacker springs. Aftermarket rear track bar. Looks to be same as front one I replaced which was shot. I believe steinjaeger

I believe steinjaeger
This is likely part of the problem. They use a Heim joint, like MetalCloak, which don't typically hold up well. From their product description:

"The frame mounted end of the track bar utilizes a Chrome Moly Heim Joint while the axle mounted end has a fixed poly housing."

Also, since you're mentioning body roll, have you checked the springs for sagging on one side? Or, for a blown shock on one side?

What are your expectations as to body roll? What are you comparing it to?

I believe that’s for the front. And I had no option but to use the same brand because in the front, steinjager requires you to drill into the frame mount. I bought the jeep with one already on it. Not too upset because they are made in my home state of Illinois so glad to support! I’m about to go play around with the back and look further

I’m comparing it to my last TJ. This one has way to much sway coming from the rear at interstate speeds

Cool. Just wondering if it was apples to apples.

I tossed my rear sway bar in the bin when I did my lift. Its really light and is only 5/8ish in diameter. Cant believe it really does anything measurable at stock height and significantly less lifted.

Have you looked at the springs or shocks for any issues? For example, a sagging spring or blown shock. I've never owned or installed Skyjacker springs, but there has been some discussion in the past about that issue.
