Looking at replacing my worn out steering box and replacing the steering shafts while I'm in there. I just did the Moog ZJ upgrade and it tightened things up, but that box has a lot of play. I'm looking at the SGR400R box with the Line upgrade kit and the Borgeson upper and lower shafts.

- Will this box be plug and play minus shortening the intermediate shaft?
- Will the stock power steering pump play nice with the bigger bore?
- Is there any need to run a cooler if I don't play on wheeling it hard?

Around 2k is a lot, but I'm willing to spend it so long as I'm not opening up pandora's box. Any advice/info would be appreciated.

Skip the Borgenson shaft. The steering gear end is not keyed. Instead use the Mopar early TJ lower shaft that is both keyed and the correct length for the PSC gear.

Perfect. Thank you for that. Is crown ok or would you suggest going mopar?

I used Mopar.

As far as the cooler is concerned, if you are hearing the pump while working the steering hard, then a cooler might be a good idea. I had the Black Magic Brakes cooler on the stock power steering for about a year before I changed everything over to hydro assist.
