Where do you keep your pistol?

Unlike some of you I’m not paranoid and don’t need to carry all the time. When I go somewhere I can’t carry I have lock boxes in all my vehicles to secure them. Remember even if you are in the right to use your weapon the 2 lives on either end of the barrel will change forever. Also make sure you have the proper insurance because you Will be in a law suit. Here in Ca only the DA can rule if the use of a firearm was justified the police Must take you in. Carrying a firearm comes with a shit ton of responsibility.
Picture below is the center console of my YJ. TJ has the same box connected to a steel cable under my seat.

I don't care what anyone thinks. I'd rather be prepared. I'm perfectly fine carrying around tools on my Jeep I may never need. But I don't want to be out on the trail and stranded. Or worse...not being able to protect family and friends. I certainly hope I don't need to ever use it. I've got plenty of stuff that keeps me up at night. I'd never sleep again if failed my family.

And if you think the woods and trails we like to travel are safe...I have a 100 videos of trash pickups from everything from drugs, unhoused, illegal dumping and everything in between. Willamette Riverkeepers found a body cleaning the river a few months ago.

yep,for sure.rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6 thing.

i have the tuffy under seat box and swapped out the key lock for the combination lock. one less key to deal with. ruger lcp II stays in my back pocket most all the time. under seat box is mostly used when the top and doors are off or if i can’t carry some place.

And our Salvation Army could whoop up on Canadas army(lol)

dont make us burn down the whitehouse again... LOL yes im aware our military isnt the greatest but we are one of the reasons there is a Geneva convention...we are friendly until we arent than we get really nasty...#warcrimesthatwegetawaywithbecausefriendlycanadians

that being said, the might of the us forces is incredible.

JUST SO EVERYONE IS AWARE., im just being facetious here lol. i got mad love for the usa.

I think you will be seeing more laws passed where you will be held responsible for guns stolen from vehicles. In my own personal opinion it is irresponsible to leave a gun unattended in a vehicle. It only takes seconds to rummage through a car or steal it. If you are carrying, carry and leave the valuables at home. You know you own pretty much the most unsecured vehicle on the road.

Of course, if you own a Snap On screwdriver, by all means buy a locking safe to put it in. Buy your side arm a nice holter and tuck it in.

You’re probably right, but realistically how is that any different from being held responsible for what happens when someone steals your vehicle?
