The impact wrench one is like the complete opposite for me though? Mine saves my knuckles from repeatedly bashing against stuff. Do the air impacts twist your hand real bad?

They can sometimes... I've rapped my knuckles with my air ratchet. I've got an electric one now to try out and I'll let you know if it's any different.
