Anybody up for a random meme dump?

Again…by the same BS.

I prefer to extend some grace in the non essentials , whether someone has long hair or likes to belly dance is not sin . Of course , some are quick to measure hair length , skirt length or music preferences . Being ceremonially unclean was a favorite of the Pharisees . We are all sinners , some are redeemed by the grace of God. The thankfulness belongs to God , providing Jesus to redeem His Elect .

Thank you. You are a shining example of how people should be, Christian or otherwise. I have zero patience with self righteous prigs.

I realize there's idiots on both sides of the fence..... But REALLY can anyone really believe any of this?

View attachment 604225

One of two things is happening.... this is entirely BS. A quick check of proposed bills in the last 2 months shows none of this btw.... or the R's who didn't want Trump in anyway shape or form are pushing this to feed the resistance.

The only thing I do believe is that there are not the 2 sides most see and align with.... the 2 sides are us and them.

If people who believe there is a fundamental difference in the D's and R's aren't seeing this after what Musk is showing us it's useless. The theater of WOKE and "Values" is used to keep you looking at the "sides" and not the actions.

Just in USAID alone there is Trillions in fraud... it happened under D's and R's.... FOR 50 FUCKING YEARS. They knew it... both "sides" knew it... and both "sides" benefited.

In my world just one side benefited...

I'm not sure it was your hair that the people you claim to be Christians might have objected to, and you've successfully insulted and alienated every Christian on the planet with your remark, including me.

It doesn't matter whether it was my hair or not - I have zero patience for self-righteous people, be it "Christians" or Liberals. You can just be insulted and alienated; I don't care, Margaret. I see things every day that I object to - but I don't apply my worldview to others, something "Christians" need to learn desperately - 2,000 years of bad history shows us that much. Thank Goddess most Christians - at least most Christians on this board, aren't like you.

I do find it hypocritical that many "Christians" object to long hair on men, when their deity is generally depicted with same.

To derail a bit...

Preacher's son asks to borrow dad's car.

Son: Can I borrow the car dad?

Preacher: If you'll get a haircut I'll let you borrow it.

Son: But Jesus always is shown with long hair!

Preacher: Yes, and he walked everywhere he went.

Snort! I've heard that one. Funny - but also underscores my point. Said preacher is self-righteous, and - like most of society - is devoted to what I call MC squared - Mindless Conformity to Meaningless Convention. Its an interesting phenomenon when you dive into it. Its the same kind of thought that keeps men in horrid suits and neckties, while prohibiting us from wearing skirts. Its all completely meaningless, yet most will consider it Right and Good (tm). I'm old enough to remember it being a Big Deal (tm) for a woman to wear pants - an equally meaningless convention. But enough philosophizing and psychobabble from me! ;)

P.S. There are certain "Christians" who will go on about such things as these as being "of the world", yet apparently Suits and Neckties are heavenly decreed. News flash: EVERYTHING on this plane of existence is "of the world" - its inescapable! This type of ill-logic just does not compute.

You just did.

Why single out the one religion that teaches peace and forgiveness? Muslims would throw you from a rooftop to appease Allah.

So would many Christians - read your history. Monotheism is monotheism, regardless of guise. " Peace and forgiveness" may be taught, but is seldom practiced - your comments alone prove that.

I'll expand on the "long hair" thing a little. I played 4 years of college football in the early 1980's... and I played in HS in the late 70's. I had mid back length hair back in those days. I still have a ponytail to this day. I had my church leaders pull me aside, my coaches and even a local TV reporter comment on the fact that I had my hair that long while seeming like an upstanding young man. In HS I was told (while no rule existed) that I wouldn't play if I didn't keep my hair under my helmet. In college it was OK to have as longer but couldn't cover my name.

I was asked at my church to cut it once.... ironically in front of a painting of Jesus sitting with children in a field with hair longer than mine.

It's real and it's one of many examples why I believe the most evil groups have common associations and then move to exclude anyone who doesn't confirm. As a Christian, I genuinely believe that churches and other organizations supposedly based on Christianity spend far too much time looking for specs and avoiding logs. I just choose to distance myself from organized Christianity while still being a Christian. But even in that you are attacked as only organized Christians are true Christians. In large part the organizations are about the organizations...and the money while while using Christianity as a tool to police the organizations... and everyone else.

....and guess what? At the end of a lot of USAID trails are Christian Organizations, Church endowments and so called Charities...
