What did you do to your TJ today?

Had a bad wheel seal so took it all apart today and got my new seal and bearing in. Should of done it last year while I was in here doing the wheel bearing on the other side. At least I didn't have to buy an axle shaft this time(y).

I went with the Everbright 44MM Warm White 12V. Very happy with the color. They came six to a box, so I figure I've got spares for a while if they glitch out. hahaha I've never had the dome covers ever since I bought the Jeep, but I found some new ones on MoparPartsGiant. Paid about $65 for the pair which seems criminal, but hoping it'll stop wasps from trying to make it their home. 😫

Thanks very much for this, appreciate it!

Fresh parts always look so good!

Looks like the ends of your primary and secondary return springs are "tangled" where they attach to the post at top center of the backing plate. In other words, the hook of the last spring you installed is behind/under the hook of the spring installed before it, if that makes sense.

Didn't @jscherb have a TJ/CJ grill with the light cutouts in that position?

Yes, I did a custom grille face in fiberglass a few years ago. It has larger slots for better airflow, the outer slots intersect the headlights like the CJ grilles, and it has turn signals in the grille. This is a photo of it on the ground posed in front of the stock grille on my Wrangler pickup. I never installed the custom grille, it's still sitting in my basement.
