On my dad's ranchero there was one for high beams, but it was on the left. Does what you posted have a similar function?

High beam switch was on the left where we now have a "dead pedal"

I've never seen one, but is that the starter?

The Morgan +8 cars had an additional pedal that squirted oil onto the wooden frame, but I've never seen one of those either.

Some of the early Jeeps had the starter button like this. But I had a early pickup that had one.. But I'm also OLD....

My Bronco has the floor switch for high beams.

Both of my sons were like "What's that?"

I think the last rig I owned that had the high beam switch on the floor was a Ranchero but not sure.
