If you do the work to move the axle side track bar mount, you can have crossover steering that is a little nicer than stock TJ.

I fully agree with you there. Just nice how well a tie rod flip and the RockJock steering plays on a TJ axle.

Took a lot of wheeling to loosen everything up though.

I lost a track bar bolt at the first TJFest. That’s why I now carry an extra.

The magnet worked but another option for holding that nut is to wrap a zip tie around it making it more of a flag nut. DaveF taught me that one.

I felt slightly guilty for staying in my rig in the shade for the spring remount. You guys handled it well tho, and damn it was hot.

1) I thought it was “chewy”, not “the wall”
2) good discussion of the access issues.
3) The first time I saw @NashvilleTJ do the power line to the right on rocker knocker, I was impressed. Now however, I’m more impressed by a baby tired, 35”, short wheelbase rig doing the traditional line.
4) less is more!

She called it Chewy, i took it more as “a wall” than “the wall”. But, I’m not watching it again to see if I agree with my memory or not.

3h in that area is a near record. Most SAR teams are volunteers. Lot of time it takes 3 hours just to get a team together. And then like the report says...a few more hours to drive in...an hour to hike in, rig gear, establish a safety plan...the were lucky to get a couple of helicopters.
