I almost did what the guy did who went to jail. Then I realized she could say I did something. I left her in the parking lot crying.
Here you need one if your kayak is longer than 10', not sure if there are any rules for paddle boards or inner tubes.
Oregon is not a free state. It hasn't been since the late 70's when all the liberals from down south moved in.
It totally sucks living in occupied territory.
On the bright side, our friends in the cities have shown us the way. Only obey the laws you agree with.

"from down south", in Oregon, equates to Californians. No need to get your Old South bowels in an uproar. While we did fight on the wrong side of the war of northern aggression, we are trainable and do learn from our mistakes.

The paddleboard license has been a thing for years. I never bothered with it. Haven't been popped yet. I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.
PA has a permit requirement for kayaks and canoes. A more expensive permit for boats with motors and jet skis. "Waters of the Commonwealth" is their excuse.
