I would like to move this thread into the Regional Forums, AZ section so all members can see it and we have one area to respond in, but I'm not sure how to do this? Maybe @Chris can help me with this?

I hope to see as many members that can make it for any of, or all the days we will be wheeling!

Who knows... maybe we can make it a yearly event....

Well see you answered 90% of my questions... Now I'll have to see how my trip goes and that I can find my way around...

Seen some of these names of trails so looking forward to running them... Don't give two hoots about BOH trails..

Right now my planned boondocking site is:

34.00395750000001, -112.16101169999999

Optional spot

34°00'14.3"N 112°09'39.6"W

Rick,

I would NOT recommend camping at Little Pan staging area. The road in is rough for your RV and the area is sketchy at best.
Here is an alternative campground that will put you in a more central location to hit all the trails we are doing...

Oops did you forget to include a spot?

Any minimum equipment requirements or recommendations for the listed trails?

For those of you who are attending Sunday's Telegraph Line run, you will need to buy a Tonto Nat. Forest OHV permit ($10.00) before hitting the trail.

Here is the link to purchase it

If you plan on trailering to the trail, you can park here (Parking at the staging area is not allowed)

We're in for Friday and possibly Sunday.

PSA. The Great American Crawl is having a event the same weekend in Table Mesa.
Don't know how big it is but they do have a BLM Permit

I checked with the local BLM office, they confirmed there is an event there that weekend, The Great American Crawl, but the area is still open for use by others.... it may be crowded but we can still access all the trails.

if we need to call an audible due to crowd size on Friday we could always run Sunflower Mine Trail northeast of Phoenix....

Well I've got bad news... And this time it isn't Jeep related... I'd gone to my appointment with my prosthetist this morning and then went to get my oil changed in my truck. Got home to find my dog had been attacked by one of my daughters dogs... Wasn't sure how bad it was at first but after looking a little closer I called my vet & was told to bring him in ASAP...

At this point we don't know WHY it happened and we can only guess why too... And really there isn't any way to know what caused it.. This has never happened before. But the guess is that the new puppy was bugging my dog who is 13 and old and cranky. So he might have snapped at the puppy and my daughters older dog used my dog as a chew toy.

Needless to say after spending all afternoon at the vet and having a HUGE vet bill my little guy is home and sleeping off all the drugs he was given. But he's got stitches in his left hind leg and can't be left alone. Plus has to go back in 2 weeks to have the stitches removed. So I won't be heading towards TN until after 7 March. And I'll be bringing my fur buddy with me on the trip.

Was really looking forward to meeting all of you and getting to experience AZ wheeling. Maybe on my way back to UT in April?
