Years ago I was told the A10 is also know as "the breath of Allah" in certain areas.

When I was in the military and we had our annual rifle qualification, the top 5 of us in the unit got to go to an aircraft gunnery range in Savannah, GA.
We saw 4 different types of aircraft come in. It was awesome!
1st set: Navy F-18s. We were in the tower and they were talking to the Navy pilots who were around 80 miles offshore. They said their ETA would be a bit over 5 minutes
. Just the 20mm Vulcans were used. When they were coming in we asked if we could watch from the outside railings of the tower. They said "Sure". After the first F-18 came by and triggered its Vulcan, we came back in, much to the amusement of the tower guys. The cannon was deafening.2nd set: ANG F-16s. Same. Just Vulcans.
3rd set: OV-10 Bronco. Not sure what they used but it was wimpy compared to the Vulcans.
4th set: A-10s
. Holy Moly. The plane almost stopped in midair when the cannon fired. They had some APCs on the ground for targets. After teh shooting, they let us go down to the range and grab some shells. The 30mm were MUCH bigger than the 20mm shells. I still have one of each.That was one of those days in the military that you really remember and think "That was really cool!"
And then that's offset by remembering the days "And that's why I didn't re-enlist!"

With some skirts, one must be VERY careful. Up until now, I've always worn both underwear and pantaloons under my skirts. But now, my main teacher has decided that we're going to wear skirts with pretty high slits. Time to break out the G-string I guess - I have very little experience with high slit skirts - this teacher bitched for years that she didn't like slit skirts, now we're wearing them. Next will probably be Mermaid skirts as she's bitched about how she hates those.
Back in the old days, there were certain dance skirts that you wore nothing underneath as G-strings hadn't been thought of I guess, and that would be the only thing possible as the skirt was basically 2 triangles that met at the hip bone. And yes, I have one of those skirts, but I've always worn it with pantaloons. Crazy Turkish style!
Shouldn't those all be goats?
